Long night in the barn, Nelda woke me 2:20 a.m. to tell I had just missed the first baby. Violet had a boy and girl Sully and Grace. Both very vocal like their dad Jasper. It's a muddy mess at the farm we have had a total of 6 in. and the not including last week. They say more rain on the way. Myrlte should be next and soon.

New kid "Finch" was born around 7:30 last night. Pearl tired to tell but I was listening, I thought she had 3 more weeks to go. I will listen better. Just one little boy. I love his markings.

They love play time in the barn. This weekend will be the first day in the pasture. Mrie has one ear longer than the other, the ear that was folded on the end when she was born. That makes her special.

They snuggle with other all the time.

I would have bet money Jasper was the dad but Opie got the job done. The babies have his ears.
