The sun broke through for a short while, that always makes a great photo. Ossie and Harriet got all excited to see the sun as well.

I pass this Longhorn Bull everyday and had to get a picture. He's freakishly large, this picture doesn't do him justice, he is huge. He's at a farm across from Longveiw Golf course so John dropped me off. He seemed surpised someone taking his picture.

Pearl and Oscar like the hay that's in the wagon. It's the same hay that's in their pen but... whatever. They are goats who knows what they are thinking. A cloudy morning.

You would think sunrises and sunsets would always be the same but they are not. They are as varied as the people on this planet. Some are more special then others.

The Pear Tree is starting to bloom. It didn't bloom and didn't bare fruit last year, maybe because of the drought. A perfect sign that it will be a great year.

I still have one tile to cut for the back splash but for the most part it's done. I'm very happy with the way it turn out. Last night the

I picked up about 5 tractor loads of brush and burned it all. There is more to pick up it's never ending. I'm not complaining the weather was beautiful and I spent every minute outside. Tammy, Wylie and I started the goats area. 38 t-posts and 4 wedge-loc corners (we could do a commercial for them, they work great). Look who's napping, you would think she been driving posts.

We lost Henry today. I will miss his big brown eyes. With calves it's a 50/50 chance and we came out on the wrong side. We gave him a lot of love in a short amount of time. We love you Henry. Life on a farm is not always easy.

Tammy had an emergency with the goat pen, major renovations had to be made, do to wind. Spring is here and the grass is greening up. Pearl and Oscar make me laugh so much, they are very busy clowns.

I had to leave to go to work and they all said good-bye. Pearl is hoarse from crying. The kids hate it when you walk away. They can walk on a leash and are not that afraid of the dogs now. Henry loves the goats. He had scours (upset stomach) but after two shots, two pills and electrolytes he's doing better. I truly am a farmer now (farmer in training). Just look at those faces.

Mom, Dad, and Aunt Marilyn get warm after playing with the goats.

He comes to my window to let me know he would like to come.

6:15 feeding went great Henry was glad to see me with bottle in hand. Lucy and Lulu met him, that went very well. Ozzie and Harriet are roaming free and everyone is meeting and getting along good. The dogs help me herd the geese back toward the pond. I think they like having a job.

Wylie bought a Jersey calf last night at the auction. I was ready to take the 3 other brothers but one cow is just fine, with the goats coming Sunday. I did raise my hand and came home with 2 African geese (Ozzie and Harriet). What was I thinking. You should have seen the look on the guys face when I opened the door to Honda Element and said the calf is riding in the back seat and the 2 geese are in the back. We all 3 came home and mad a bottle to feed the baby, he was very hungry. Henry's staying at my house until we get the fencing done.

The art reception was a great success, I sold 8 paintings. This one of the replacement. Went to visit Pearl and Oscar they are so cute. They get to come home Sunday. There new home is ready and I can't wait.

Tammy's holding my new little girl (haven't named her yet) and their little boy Oscar. They are six weeks old brother and sister Nubian goats. They will be weaned in about 2 weeks, then they come to live with us.
